Moving on

I am currently very interested in integrating color and unlike materiality in my new body of work. This will include, plastic casting, cement casting, glitter, neon colors, shag carpets, feminist concepts, satire and juxtapositions that merge to create and odd but dynamic coupling. I am doing quiet a bit of experimenting and trying to grow in the way of materiality and concept in a way that is honest and real. This process of quiltmaking marries humor, color, formal process and concept in a format that both makes sense and is not overwhelming. I look forward to working in this way for a while.
